NEW SENIOR MANAGEMENT AT MITSUBISHI MOTORS EUROPE
Four years after joining Mitsubishi Motors Europe B.V. (MME) as President & CEO, Tim Tozer has decided to leave the Company to pursue other personal ventures.
The end of his collaboration with Mitsubishi Motors coincides with the successful completion of the European part of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s “Revitalization Plan” and the regional launch of its mid-term “Step Up 2010” business plan announced in February.
Within this period, MME returned to prosperous times, all with tangible results in terms of finance, organization, distribution, manufacturing, brand and product,
In today’s difficult economic environment, MME will focus on the strengthening of these foundations under the leadership of Gen Nishina, its new President & CEO, effective December 23rd, 2008.
A seasoned professional with a vast international experience including over 10 years of European assignments since 1997, Gen Nishina (55) will bring a sense of continuity and consistency with his understanding of European customers’ requirements, deep product knowledge and vast network within the Mitsubishi organization.
Commenting on this new phase, Osamu Masuko, President, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation said: “The European business is vital for Mitsubishi Motors and Tim Tozer has contributed significantly to its development over the past four years. We all wish him well for the future.” He added: “Gen Nishina and MME’s Management Team will now be tasked to take the operations forward within the context of Step Up 2010 and with the benefit of a completely renewed line up of products.”
