MITSUBISHI CROWNED “BEST SPORTS CAR” AT AUTO TRADER’S ANNUAL USED CAR AWARDS
The Mitsubishi Ralliart FTO coupe has been awarded the prestigious “Best Sports Car” award at the recent Auto Trader Used Car Awards. The car was voted for by Auto Trader’s readership over the last few months, beating a shortlist including the Honda S2000 (1999-present) and Mazda RX-8 Coupe (2003-present) to take the award.
Jason Dawe and Penny Mallory presented the award, stating that voter’s comments included “fast and fun, it puts a smile on your face” and “it is a pure driver’s car”. Other FTO credentials included its great value, reliability and styling.
Mitsubishi’s General Manager of Press and Public Relations, Andy Wertheim, commented that “the FTO epitomizes Mitsubishi’s core strengths of sporting heritage, advanced technology and excellent product reliability – all of which work together for a superb driving experience, great residual values and a very loyal customer base.”
